You should pay attention when your parents are packing. My mom is probably the most organized person I know. After getting to London we went to a bathroom to get changed and cleaned up. I already had changed on the plane so I waited outside for everyone else. I saw a neon orange tag on a suitcase that was going around and around on the baggage claim carousel. And I remembered that putting neon tags on luggage was one of the things Mom had done to make it easy to find luggage. When Dad came out, I told him about it and sure enough it was one of our bags. The handle had broken and the baggage claim tag had been lost. It was ALL DAD'S CLOTHES!!! And my American girl doll!!!!!
It delayed our adventure in London by a good hour or two, but what an amazing miracle to find that bag when I did. (Dictated by Abby, slightly refined by Dad).
